OFFLINE ACCESS to the Sound Board

The website is still suffering from a lengthy download time. I am trying to find away to hide the download time, until after the imagery is first loaded, but I'm not having success.

The objective has always been to get these sound files into the hands of fellow players. So, I am thinking of adding an option, in the case that people are as frustrated as I am with the wait time.

I've decided to look at online distribution sources, like iTunes. Now the sound files are actually my own and have cost me an average of $23 dollars per sound file. There are 31 sound files. The work has also cost me 3 months of effort. I know it sounds like I'm trying to justify charging of the sound files, but the truth is iTunes will not allow free music. So the minimum for all 31 sound files is set by iTunes at $10 dollars (for the album). 99 cents per song (Sound effect).

If you there are people out there who want to have these sound files for themselves, to use at any time for the entertainment experience as they wish... well, alright I concede, here is an option to do so.

This is the proposed solution:

If we go through with this, at least the album will have a great cover, and also the sound files are abbreviated and generic enough to not cause a stir or ripple.

After a long and strenuous search by members of Tau Tactica a final proof of another tremendous sound scores have been assembled for the use in WarHammer 40k Tau Army Battles.

These folks did such an outstanding job bringing in sets of music types for all of us to try out, it's been a genuine pleasure to work with fellow Tau commanders, dreaming up what the ultimate Tau sound track would sound like. Gentlemen, I think we accomplished it! Listen for yourself, and see that the song list is not just good enough to play & paint Tau... anyone on the fence about starting a Tau collection.... IS GOING TO WANT to start one now!!

Way to go guys! out of 425 songs reviewed... 83 where selected and 46 songs where selected out of that. Based on this distilling process... we have a highly potent music score. Thanks to our fellow commanders of Advanced Tau Tactica!

Ion weapons sound effects have been updated on the sound board.

The Storm Surge Pulse Arc Cannon sound effect has been updated, to work more closely with the Tau fluff description of the weapon sound effect. Also the paintings of the Storm Storm Surge when it is firing. It's not a shot, or a pulse.... Instead it is a heavy buzzing beam weapon. So this had to be redone. See images below about the visual cues of the weapon fire.

The Rip Tide sound effects are coming along very well. I needed to create 4 different levels of Ion Weapon shot powers sound effects for the sound board. Starting with the Ion Raker... then the Ion Cannon, and now the Ion Accelerator. After this will the the Supremacy Walker Ion Weapons. Which will be the heaviest sounding Ion weapon sound effects I can muster.
